Q: Where are training courses held?
A: In-person training courses are held either at a location you choose, or at an Arm office. Virtual classroom training courses are delivered from our Virtual Training Rooms, and can be accessed anywhere in the world via the internet, WebEx and a computer with a microphone and headphones.
Q: Who delivers your training courses?
A: Our training courses are all delivered by Arm engineering experts. The majority of our instructors come from our global customer support teams with years of experience in dealing with customers’ daily challenges. We usually send two instructors to each course.
Q: We only have a small team - can we still get trained?
A: Our standard private training class is for fifteen or more students. For smaller groups, you can either arrange a private live virtual classroom course or select a class from our public virtual schedule. Our Approved Training Partnernetwork may also have your class scheduled.
Q: Are your courses suitable for beginners?
A: Most of our courses are suitable for those without prior Arm experience. There are a few exceptions. Generally, our courses for the Cortex-A range of processors assume prior knowledge of the Armv7-A architecture. If you don't have that prior experience, we can provide some introductory training to get you up to speed before the main course. Ask us for details if you think this might apply.
Q: Can I customize the agenda?
A: We can customize any of our private and remote courses to suit your needs. We can't guarantee that we can meet every requirement, though, so make sure you let us know well in advance about any specific needs.
